Welcome to Moens – we are a high-class butchers with a beautiful shop overlooking Clapham Common. The shop was founded in 1971 by Maurice Moen, whose son Garry is now in charge, ably supported by some of the nicest and knowledgeable staff around. At Moens we focus on one thing; quality. All other labels come after this, whether it be organic, local or grass fed.
The next stage is the butcher, who matures the carcass, and when ready butchers it. Beef matures over four weeks, lamb over two weeks, and pork over one week. Poultry is fresh daily. The final step is selling the product. Each and everyone of these steps are needed to produce a quality item.
